Saturday April 17, 2010 will be a very special day at the Watsonville, CA Airport as Shared Adventures of Santa Cruz CA organizes an airport open house for challenged children and their guests from all over Northern California. No Young Eagles rally this year, sorry! :-( But lots of fun and displays. Airplanes to sit in, games to play, simulators to fly!

The program is open to kids 8-17. Participants will get a free, 20-minute flight along with a commemorative photo and certificate. Free lunch is also included for the kids. Parents can pay $3.00 if they would like lunch as well. The Young Eagles Program has been developed by the EAA Aviation Foundation to welcome young people into the world of aviation. Aviation is exciting and vital to our nation's future. They will experience a safe and enjoyable flight that will give new perspectives on the world and life in general. Participation in the Young Eagle's Program will help them understand that an individual's potential is unlimited. | ||
