Air Academy Scholarship

Dear Aviation Enthusiast

Hi, I am Tom Hail, EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter 119’s Young Eagles Coordinator. I am inviting you to apply for a scholarship to attend EAA’s Air Academy. Chapter 119 in Watsonville is looking to award a scholarship to a local student, age 14 – 15 (mid June to early July of 2013) who has an interest in aviation. The Air Academy is a week long event held in Oshkosh Wisconsin at EAA’s headquarters each summer.  It is an incredible opportunity for youth interested in aviation.

The Scholarship covers tuition, room & board and airfare for the participant.

Please contact me or any of the other board members of Chapter 119, if you have any questions or concerns. If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, we will ask you to complete the application to the Air Academy and submit it to the Chapter 119.  The application is available at:   https://secure.eaa.org/academy/application.asp. The application and a letter of reference can be mailed to the Chapter address below. The deadline for submitting your application is November 31st, 2012.
